What will be your job duties?
Alma Career is a part of Alma Media, a dynamic digital service business and media company listed on NASDAQ Helsinki.You might not have heard of Alma Career, but we’re sure you’ve heard about companies that live under our umbrella such as LMC in Czechia (Jobs.cz, Prace.cz, Seduo.cz etc.), Profesia in Slovakia (Profesia.sk, Paylab.com, platy.sk, Tulu.sk etc.), job portal Jobly in Finland, MojPosao in Croatia and many others. Our handiwork includes well-known brands all over the Europe from Finland to Croatia. And this means that we want and need to make our already strong International Sales team even stronger to bring all the products together to our international customers.
We at Alma Career have a global function consisting of teams responsible for serving our business regions. One of the teams is International Sales team, which works across the region and serves our international customers. Team consists of Head of International sales and sales team members operating in all countries. We are now looking for an International Business Owner, who will be part of this team and his main responsibility will be ensuring product and marketing proposition for international business in cooperation with relevant stakeholders (sales, customer care, product and marketing teams in Alma Career countries). You can be based in Helsinki, Prague, Bratislava, Zagreb, Tallinn, Riga or Vilnius.
Your tasks and responsibilities as IBO include the following:
- first contact person for the feature teams as well as other POs and stakeholders
- day to day work with your team
- representing the teams in front of the stakeholders
- create business opportunities in terms of leads for International Sales team
- guard product performance and client satisfaction with products, bring together with Sales department feedback to Product department, propose solutions in coordination
- part of your role is also to set the metrics to measure client satisfaction
- your role is to be an active part of the cross Alma landscape Product Teams
- you can identify an international overlap supported by Marketing and Sales
- you are a person who is oriented to the outcome and all your steps, activities and tasks lead to the achievement of international business and client satisfaction
- you are a person who will always be there to support Sales team to help them achieve goals through all available sales & marketing channels
- your role is to coordinates our product + communication via social networking
- you have a sense of call to action + PR
As an International Business owner:
- you work with Head of International Sales to coordinate together activities in terms of short -term and long -term goals
- you work with Head of International Sales and together you present a business in the sense of processes/ teams/ products etc.
- you work cross Product Teams
- you work with Sales Excellence team
- you work with the Ecommerce team
- you work with the Marketing team

What do we require?
What do we expect from you?- experience as a Product Owner, Project manager, Marketing manager
- fluent English (C1 - both verbal and written) is required for this position
- agile mindset and methodological competence in the field of agile software development (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps)
- project management experience
- communication skills, distinct ability to work in a team, confident appearance as well as a high degree of independence
- experience with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- we value motivation and the will to learn more than knowledge
- university degree or completed high school education with work experience (ideally 5 or more years of experience)
